Clarewood House Bed and Breakfast is located in the picturesque, quiet, sea side town of Ballycastle, on the world renound North Antrim coast in Northern Ireland. The B&B is only 5 minutes from many of the attractions of the town, including the quay and town.
Ballycastle it's self is a traditional, local, sea-side town. The town offers a wide range of shops and cafes to explore, many of which offer bespoke, local produce, foods and gifts. At the quay area of the town, you will find the Ballycastle Beach and harbour, which offers a regular service to Rathlin Island, and the new 18-hole mini golf course. The town is renound for it's welcoming community so you're sure to meet a warm and welcoming atmosphere!
In and around the town, you'll also find three excellent golf courses, including the Ballycastle Golf course, Royal Portrush Golfclub and Gracehill. There are also many marked walkways including the Moyle Walkway and the Ulster Walkway.
Clarewood House is in a prime location for exploring the many attractions of the North Antrim coast. From Ballycastle, you can visit the Giants Causeway, the Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge and the various locations used for the filming of the popular HBO TV series Game of Thrones. Some examples are Ballintoy Harbour, which was used in the scenes of Theon Greyjoy returning to the Iron Islands, and the Dark Hedges, which was used in scenes of The Kingsroad.
